Ethics and Integrity
If you’ve read ‘The Story So Far’, and Peter’s short memoir about his early life, then looked at his ‘Bio’, you’ll have a pretty good idea of who we are, what we believe in, and what we’re striving for. If you haven’t read these articles, they’re worth a look. You’ll find them within the Menu.
We want Yanada, as a concept and as a small business, to survive and hopefully grow. At the same time we want to share, not only Peter’s beautiful designs with the wider community, but also 5% of all sales to Peter Yanada McKenzie’s chosen charity: the Literacy For Life Foundation.
Following the re-launch of Yanada, Peter and Tim are so happy that Tim’s son Harry will be running things from day to day and into the future. All with the same honesty and integrity from which Yanada was originally created.
The precious metals used in Yanada jewellery are either 100% mined within Australia, or recycled after being refined from previously loved pieces.
Chains, clasps and earring fittings etc are either made in Australia, or sourced from reputable local suppliers.
Wherever possible, any paper, card, packaging etc are made with 100% recycled materials and are either Australian made or sourced from reputable local suppliers.
All printing and graphic design used in the production of Yanada is made locally.
